Temperature shock air/air

Temperature shock tests are used to determine the effect of frequent high temperature changes. Important values are the temperature change difference, the holding time in each temperature zone and the temperature changing time. A temperature shock test is used for objects which will be exposed to a fast temperature change during their later usage such as electronic components of heaters, motors or other electric devices.

Chamber capacity up to 5500 liters

  • chamber temperature -78° C up to +220° C
  • middle temperature gradient 500 K/min
  • circulating air method
  • complex climatic runs
  • tubing and perfusion of the test objects with miscellaneous media
  • cyclic or non-cyclic treatment with various media
  • parameter monitoring / recording
  • online / offline testing

Standards

e.g.: DIN EN 60068-2-14, test Na, automotive standards (BMW, VW etc.)
