Similar to temperature change tests, temperature shock tests are used to determine the effect of frequent and extreme temperature changes. The difference between Tmin and Tmax, the dwell time at each temperature and the temperature changing rate are the essential factors. This test method simulates an accelerated aging process.
It is used for objects such as electronic assemblies of heating and production facilities, motors and electric applicances.
